Attention literati, fashionistas, movie buffs and anyone who loves a mystery or if your initials are POE:  Offered for your approval is this very odd pin.  Is it amber?  Is it plastic?  Is it the emblem of a highly secretive order of Post Office Employees?  We have no idea.  There are no identifying marks except for the obvious reference to Edgar Allan.

Spooky, isn’t it!

We only have one of these, and once it's gone there is, to quoth the raven, "Never more!" Material not known. Pin on the back of this brooch works. Measures 1 3/8" in diameter.

Dragon Boat Brooch

SOLD - Commemorate the annual Dragon Boat Festival with this gorgeous enamel dragon boat pin. "Sterling Thailand" is stamped on the back. Located in the jewelry display case.

We’re Gonna Have a Party!

Art Deco Luminescence

Sabino Art Glass, made in Paris in the 1920s and 30s, is a luminescent blueish white and so full of Art Deco class that it will make you feel like a connoisseur just for looking at it! This collection includes a squirrel, butterfly, dove and ring of birds.  Also is a bowl in the swallows design and one in the sea urchin pattern.  The atomizer is “Orchidee.”  The boudoir box is the “Fleurs” pattern, and the small bottle is “Frivolities,” which features pairs of scantily-clad ladies frolicking.  Outside.  And they’re old enough to know better.  Come in to the shop and check out this lovely display.

Also, don’t wait until May 5 to visit the store.  We’ve just installed a new display case which holds fine jewelry–including 14k gold and sterling, turquoise and other gorgeous stones–along with some of the most interesting decorative items you’ve ever see.  Coming up soon, we will offer a collection of Sabino Art Glass, which will be featured on this blog later this week.  These special items sell fast.  For example, the Amado Peña painting, shown below, sold in less than a week.  Elite Repeat is blessed with a wealth of fine donations, large and small.  Every one of them is a treasure no matter what the actual monetary value may be.

As our 10th anniversary approaches, we are mindful that our success is due to our faithful customers whom it is our pleasure to serve, our generous donors who supply us with such fine inventory and our wonderful volunteers who work hard and have fun doing it.  This celebration will be a great, big thank you to all of you!
